Overview
A business owner needed a solution to save time and effort in generating social media content ideas. The process was automated using Make.com, integrating tools like Apify for data scraping, ChatGPT for creative ideation, and Google Docs for content delivery. This streamlined approach allowed the client to focus on executing a successful social media strategy without the manual workload.
Challenge
The client struggled with time-consuming research, difficulty identifying high-performing content, and creative blocks in generating tailored social media ideas. Manually analyzing competitors’ posts, tracking trends, and brainstorming relevant ideas were draining both time and resources, leaving little room for strategic planning.
Solution
We implemented a workflow where Apify scraped Instagram posts from competitors and influencers, filtering out only the most successful ones using a "Virality Filter". The filtered content was collected in Google Sheets and sent to ChatGPT, which analyzed the data and generated creative ideas customized to the client’s business. Finally, the ideas were compiled into a Google Doc, ready for the client to review and implement. This approach reduced manual workload by 70% while delivering actionable, high-quality content ideas efficiently.
